About this reference material

BPC-157 is supplied by BNM Research Peptides as a lyophilized powder reference material for in-vitro laboratory research. Each lot is supported by lot-specific analytical documentation; testing status, including whether results are independent third-party or manufacturer QC, is disclosed by lot in our public CoA Archive, and the Certificate of Analysis for the lot you receive is traceable to the vial label.

This listing states composition, molecular data, and handling conditions only. We do not publish or provide application, protocol, dosing, or administration information of any kind — see our Research Use Policy for the full terms governing all materials we supply.

Research Background

BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide corresponding to a partial sequence of a peptide originally isolated from human gastric juice. Preclinical cell and animal studies have examined its interaction with the VEGFR2 (vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2) signaling pathway, with one study reporting activation and upregulation of VEGFR2 in endothelial cell culture models (Hsieh et al., Journal of Molecular Medicine, 2017). A subsequent systematic review of the orthopaedic sports medicine literature catalogs the range of preclinical mechanistic studies published on this compound (PubMed, 2025).

The literature cited below addresses receptor pharmacology and mechanism only. It does not describe application, dosing, or administration, and is not guidance for any use of this material. See our Research Use Policy.
