Ordering, documentation, testing, and the limits of what we supply. All materials are supplied for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use.
What does “for laboratory research use only” mean?
It means these materials are sold solely as chemical reagents for in-vitro laboratory research by qualified persons. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics, or medical devices. They have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any use, and no representation is made that they are safe or effective for any purpose. They must not be administered to humans or animals under any circumstances, and must not be resold or redistributed for such use. This restriction is a binding condition of sale, not a formality.
Can you tell me how to prepare or use these materials?
No. We do not provide preparation, reconstitution, quantity, frequency, administration, or application information, and we do not host or link to such material. Our staff are instructed not to answer these questions, and orders accompanied by them may be cancelled and the account closed. Determining appropriate laboratory methodology is the sole responsibility of the qualified purchaser.
Who is eligible to purchase?
Purchasers must be at least 21 years of age, must be acquiring materials on behalf of a laboratory, academic institution, or business engaged in research, and must affirm the research-use covenant at checkout. We verify accounts before the first order ships and decline any order where the intended use appears to fall outside laboratory research.
What is on the Certificate of Analysis, and what is not?
The CoA reports purity by RP-HPLC, identity confirmation by mass spectrometry, water content, appearance, and heavy metal screening for the specific lot supplied. It does not establish sterility, endotoxin content, or pyrogenicity, and it is not a statement of fitness for any application. These materials are not produced under pharmaceutical cGMP conditions.
Can I see the Certificate of Analysis before I order?
Yes. Current lot records for every catalog material — compound, CAS number, lot or report number, purity, issuing laboratory, and report date — are published in our CoA archive and are searchable by lot number. The full signed certificate is issued to verified account holders on request and ships with the material.
Is your testing independent or done in-house?
Testing is performed by named third-party laboratories including Janoshik, Vanguard Laboratory (ISO 17025), Freedom Diagnostics, Chromate, and BTLabs. Where a lot currently carries the synthesis manufacturer's own QC document instead of an independent report, our CoA archive labels it as manufacturer QC rather than describing it as independent. Independent re-testing of those lots is in progress.
How are orders shipped? Do you ship internationally?
Materials are supplied lyophilized and are stable for shipment at ambient temperature; cold-chain shipping is not used. Orders are processed within two business days and shipped within the United States only. We do not ship internationally, and we do not ship to jurisdictions where these materials are restricted.
How do I check the status of an order?
Track your shipment at /track-order using the carrier tracking number from your dispatch confirmation, or contact our orders team on (480) 790-3420 with your order or purchase order reference during U.S. business hours and we will confirm processing and carrier status. Orders are normally processed in 1–2 business days; orders requiring additional payment or account verification may take up to three additional business days. Shipping estimates begin after processing and carrier acceptance.
How do I pay for an order?
Orders are invoiced on account approval; we do not take card payment at checkout. We accept ACH/bank transfer, purchase orders from verified academic and commercial laboratory accounts, and check from U.S. institutional accounts. Additional payment options are available on request and are confirmed on the invoice — ask our orders team when you request a quote. Material is released for processing once payment or an approved purchase order is on file alongside the signed research-use covenant.
What is your return policy?
Because these are chemical reagents whose storage conditions cannot be verified once they leave our control, we do not accept returns of opened or shipped material. Claims are limited to material that does not conform to its Certificate of Analysis, or that arrives damaged, broken, leaking, missing, or incorrect — reported within 48 hours of delivery. All other order-related discrepancies must be reported within seven calendar days of delivery. Remedy is replacement or refund of the purchase price. We do not offer a satisfaction-based return.
How do I place an institutional or bulk order?
Contact us with your institution or business details, the material and quantity required, and a purchase order if applicable. We will confirm availability, issue a quote, and complete account verification before the order is released.
